GREETINGS WRESTLING COMMUNITY,

Thus far, wrestling families are attending tournaments in healthy numbers. Good competition makes good wrestlers. However, many wrestlers are practicing in wrestling rooms where clubs have not been chartered, thereby, if you have a USA card or not, you are not insured there, nor is the coach. If this is the case, contact Washington State Wrestling Association's Treasurer, Sherry Bullard and get protected ASAP.

Item two: Clubs, please be reminded, you are required to engage in one or more of the following three options.

#1. Put on a sanctioned tournament, or

#2. Supply two Certified Officials at three tournaments - mat or pairings, or

#3. have parents write bout sheets for pairings, work a table at each tournament, or help clean the site at tournament's end and roll up mats.

We ALL play an important role in the success of Washington's Wrestling experience. When we ALL lend a hand, work is lighter and we all get closer and teach our families social skills and a sense of community.
