Also, this year a background screening process has been put in place in Washington State.  The screening will need to be completed every two years.

All coaches, officials, club administrators, board members, team washington staff and other volunteers who are 18 years of age or older are required to complete this process.

This means that whoever is listed on your club charter must have a background check submitted and approved prior to me approving the charter.  Attached is an e-mail that was sent to all Coaches a few days ago.

The cost of the background screening is $18.00

MAKE SURE YOU SELECT WASHINGTON STATE WRESTLING ASSOCIATION or you will not show up on my list to get approval.

Once you complete all screens and submit the information, your background screening will show up on my list immediately.  It will go into a pending status until the screening company processes and then will change to an approved status.

Options: 

Renew Online! – this allows you to renew your own athlete/coach card

My Account – this gives you information about your own purchases

Mat/Pairing Officials Join – this allows you to renew your own officials card if you are also an official

Membership Card – this allows you to view and print your own membership card – if you have more than one then you must go into your account and look at your membership history and click the little white piece of paper to see your cards

Club Admin Options: (these are all your new features)

Club Admin Manual – this tells you how to renew your wrestlers and coaches cards in bulk – if you have a problem with a card or see a duplicate – PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE CREATING MORE DUPLICATES so I can fix the problem before if keeps growing.

Print Generic Waiver Form – this is for your members to sign because one of the check boxes when you renew their card is that you have one of these on file – please print these and have them signed so you have copies

My Club – has tabs for basic information about your club and another tab which lists all your current and previous club members.  You can export that information to files and use it for e-mail lists, etc…

Add/Renew Member – this is where you add bulk coaches and wrestlers – see Club Admin Manual for instructions

Unpaid Members – this is where you will pay for all your members all at once after you add them with option above – see Club Admin Manual for instructions

Print Membership Cards- this will allow you to print cards for all your members so you can give them a copy or keep one for yourself – see Club Admin Manual for instructions

Process Age Verifications – this is where you will validate birth dates for all your members after you look at their birth certificate or form of id

Renew My Club – this is where you will renew your club charter – IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR CLUB NAME OR THE PERSON WHO WILL BE LISTED ON THE CHARTER – I need to know before you renew it so I can change it in the system.  Here you will enter all the information.  Make sure you enter school districts at the bottom of the form under additional club insured's for any district you want insured.  If you don’t enter a district – you will not be provided insurance coverage – Each district you list is $20.00 on top of the $125.00 club charter basic fee.  Once you enter or change everything on the first page, hit the continue button at the bottom of the form to go to the next screen.  You will then validate your information, enter your credit card information, billing address, and then hit the submit button.  Don’t hit submit more than once.  The charter will then be processed and sent to me for approval after the next screen.

Change Password – You should change your password every once in a while

Logout – make sure you logout of every session
