Fargo Costs for 2006

The final cost for Cadets and Juniors to Fargo is: $960.00
The final cost for Junior Women is: $860.00
All athletes should have already sent in their 2nd payment so far.
Final payment must be made by Cashier's check or Money order only to Mary
Douglas. This MUST be received no later than July 6th or the athletes name will
NOT go on a ticket and there are no refunds to athletes after June 1st per
letter. All outstanding debts to state must be paid in full prior to the athlete
attending any trips. All money sent in will be applied to any debts first before
the trip fees.

The reduction in cost this year is due to a couple of factors: 1) WSWA had a
contract with Suplay to sell T-shirts at State Championship events which saved
the athletes $131.58 each, 2) The $1 per entry fund that was put in place for
all tournaments this year went towards every National team - the Cadet and
Juniors were given $1400.00 to use towards the trip to Fargo, 3) The Cadet and
Junior male athletes will fly in/out of Minneapolis and drive to Fargo saving a
couple hundred each on tickets.
WSWA was given $10,000.00 from Suplay towards uniforms for Fargo.
WSWA was able to pay the following out to National team trips out of the $1.00
per athlete fee paid by each tournament holder to the state this year:
Schoolboy Duals (all uniform expenses $2197.76)
Cadet Duals (all uniform expenses + insurance on 1 van $2240.05)
Junior Duals (all uniform expenses + insurance on 2 vans $2943.40)
Women Nationals ($600.00 total to be taken off trip total - used for airfare)
Cadet and Junior Nationals ($1,400.00 total to be taken off trip total - used
for gas expenses)
We were able to save athletes $19,381.21 in fees this year by signing the
contract with Suplay for 1 year on T-shirt sales and by having all tournaments
send in $1.00 per entry at all WSWA events.
